Summit, NJ, January 14, 2021 - We are excited to announce that Donald Christensen has joined //NKST, a growth acceleration firm, as Director of Financial Services Business Development.
Don is a skilled marketing and communications specialist with experience that spans national and community banking institutions. As the co-founder of his own Advertising and Public Relations agency for 16 years, his strategic and creative leadership established Christensen, Tamburri Communications (CTC) among the top 25 agencies in New Jersey.
Don is highly regarded in the banking and financial industry through his wealth of diversified experience. He is an advertising, marketing, branding, and imaging professional with experience as both a marketing and creative strategist and freelance photographer. His successful career has showcased him as an experienced business developer and creative imaging professional with numerous accomplishments in the marketing and advertising industry. Throughout his career he has created award-winning marketing, advertising, and public relations campaigns for over 15 different New Jersey banks and financial institutions.

His career has also been marked with numerous significant personal achievements. Don has earned the prestigious Certified Business Communicator (CBC) designation from the International Business Marketing Association (BMA), and has won awards for advertising and photojournalism from the Advertising Club of New Jersey. In 2015 Don was inducted into the New Jersey Advertising Hall of Fame and in 2019 he published an article on branding in New Jersey Banker magazine.
His education includes a B.A. degree in Communications, Advertising and PR from Michigan State University where he graduated cum laude. His post graduate studies include Advertising Production Management and Interior Design at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
